I haven't given any title to this short love tale. It's time to you people you can suggest the best title by yourself and write down in comment section
"I'll rename this post with best title"
Crushes are special but usually temporary. But, what about your first crush?
does he/she stay with you for a long time!
It happened to riya when she was in the 12th standard - she was struck by "the first crush syndrome" (love at first glance). At the age of 17, no one realizes that you are not as grown up as you think.
He was the "school ka sports star, romance ka Shahrukh, flirting ka emaran", two years elder than her. She saw him at every sport meet on weekends. He was the reason for Saturday attendance was never low. But as every crush does, this too faded under the pressure of studies, exams.
It was not that riya's friends never tried the matchmaking thing for her! But her bookworm-ness never faded and this resulted in her “zero boyfriends till date” status after my plus two. She was happy with hee books and crush with his Greek God looks. He was on her Facebook friends list - like everyone else from school - and that was it.
Love wasn’t a pleasant experience for her after that either - two bitter breakups turned her into a complete relationship phobic. Though no one matched the looks and style of her Greek God, she wanted her relationships to last.
"Graduated!" This was her Facebook status once she was done with college. By then there was not even a memory of her first crush in her mind. But, guess what who was the first one to like my status? The guy whom she had never said even a casual hello to, the one who sent shivers down her spine every time he kicked the football and scored a goal. Yes! It was her very own Greek God!
A message into her inbox: "Congratulations, girl! I have admired your debating skills since school times. Anyone can kick a ball, but it takes guts to speak your opinion in front of a crowd and that too so fluently! Way to go, beautiful!"
Her heartbeat went super-fast at his words - it was as if she had time traveled back to the age of 17
She suddenly felt she was beautiful. No doubt. but a girl doesn't always start admiring herself till the time someone she values makes her feel special. Her inner voice spoke: "See!! It’s such an easy job to start a casual conversation... He is congratulating me on graduating, and I couldn't speak even when he got a job in an MNC
She finally replied to his message with a smiling emoji and said “Thank you so much!” she couldn't type a word more.
After exchanging numbers and talking to him for two long months, she realized he wasn't the unachievable. He was a genuine guy who admired the way she presented her point of view. which made her smile more often! She felt as if he was someone she would search for even in a crowded world...
Sparks flew, and reality happen.!
Most of the times universe will never adjust as we want. And when it comes to everyone's first crush it works like the devil in our life. We never get our first crush for the lifetime.
Maybe that's the harsh reality of world!
