part 4

It was a cold winter afternoon and he had to meet her at Marine DRIVE. well i forgot to tell you he is an engineering student and she is a fashion designer. so finally our date is fixed to meet on weekend. he was waiting like a hell to meet her but at one point he is scared too because she was going to tell something before she accept his proposer.

And the day comes, she was ready to meet him as per planning she went to marine drive at 5 o clock. there he sat, near the sea reading a book, with the sunlight dancing on his chocolate brown hair. For a moment, she forgot everything and kept looking at him. For some reason, she was instantly drawn to him. Being the extrovert, over-excited girl that she is, she went over and sat next to him, introducing herself. He meekly responded but I could tell that he wasn’t deliberately trying to be curt but instead, was just a shy guy.

Later she learnt that he was pursuing his bachelors degree in civil and he liked keeping to himself. The fact that he was an introvert, quite the opposite of me, attracted me to him even more. There was something about him that made me want to talk to him and get to know him better. And this became my new mission in life.

Every time she saw him she feels complete. initially, he was a little taken aback, slowly he got pretty friendly with me. In between those short conversations, one-sided chatter (mostly) and questions that she hurled at him, we started liking each other. He asked me out through a love letter. Old-school and classic, I thought, he was downright adorable!


But as he got to know her more, he got this inkling feeling that she wasn’t always being honest with him. she slowly started opening up to him, telling him stories of childhood days, school and friends. But sometimes she would be hesitant and hide things. Like she never talked about her family, he had observed.


after a long conversation she told him all the dark thoughts that she constantly battled with in her head because they seemed to be plaguing our relationship too. me.

she hesitated a little and then told me the truth. Four years ago, she had a relationship with a boy. And this boy was actually her senior. When she was just 17 and he was 21, she had lost her virginity to him. he had come into her life like a knight in shining star when she was battling to come to terms with his parent’s divorce. They lived together, which had made their relationship convenient. And since they were not blood relatives, legitimate as well.


As supportive as he wanted to be, he couldn’t digest this dark past that she had. The day he found out, he didn’t say much. he tried for the next few minutes to put it all behind, but it just didn’t seem right.


In other way, to tell him the truth was not such a good idea. It led to the eventual end of our relationship. But on the other hand, he had learnt all of this later, it would’ve hit him way harder.

he said , wait now i know all the dark truth lets play a game? a simple question answer game to test our relationship? okay??

uhmmm... still you want to ask something then okay ..!! before i want to ask something?
